What will I be getting when I join the Foundation?

Basic induction training
This takes place at either our Head Office in Stockport or Regional Centres. It gives new staff an overview of the Foundation and how it operates. The programme is also introduces the employee to the skills needed to perform their role.

Topics include:-

Introduction to the Foundation
This is your initial welcome to the Foundation and explains what it does and how it operates

The Challenge
Background Statistics of the number of children envolved in accidents and why we need to reach them Legislation in Education
How the products we use link to Personal, Social and Health Education and Citizenship, the National Curriculum and the Key Stages within it.

Associations
Brief outline of the professional associations and agencies that we work with.

Testimonials
 What do our associates / sponsors / teachers / children think? What standards do they expect from us?

Talking to potential sponsors over the telephone
An introduction to the skills needed to present the charity and the products it promotes. Working with script and role-playing.

Disciplinary Procedures
The Foundation has disciplinary procedures in place. These will be explained Together with the appeal process
