We have put together some of the most common questions asked by new employees
Q. What about breaks during the day?
A. Full time workers have two x 15 minute breaks. There is also a one hour break
for lunch. Part time workers must refer to their Line Manager for details of their
break arrangements.
Q. What are my promotion prospects?
A. Promotion prospects are very good. The Foundation is expanding rapidly and we
try to make promotions internally when positions become available, our
Telephone Sales Representatives can become Team Leaders and Sales Managers
in the future. Work hard and if you want to go for any promotion make your
Manager aware and they will give you all the help you need.
Q. What training will I receive?
A. Before starting work in the department, you must attend an induction programme
in the Training Centre covering the Foundation and the requirements of your new
position. Once you have started work with us, your performance will be constantly
assessed and one to one monitored coaching provided as necessary.
Q. When do we break up for Christmas?
A. The Foundation has a shut down period between Christmas and New Year. This
shut down forms part of your annual holiday entitlement.
Q. Are there any tips you can give me to do the job well?
A Be polite, cheerful and listen to what people say. Don't be pushy or aggressive. Memorise the set script and practice it's delivery until, like an actor, you have it word perfect.
Q. What will I be required to wear for work?
A. You will be expected to be smart and well groomed.
